Proven reliable even in crisis situations
The satellite connection we offer has been tested under demanding conditions as part of a larger crisis communication readiness study.
In a study conducted in 2024-2025, the system was found to be reliable even in extreme conditions.
The device has been proven to work reliably even in temperatures as low as -27°C and has achieved speeds of 150-350 Mbps in extensive tests. The device has been tested at international border crossings on Finland's eastern border, from Raja-Joosepi to Vaalimaa.
The study was carried out in cooperation with the Finnish National Security Agency, Traficom and Yleisradio, and its results have been presented at the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
